In the second reading St. Paul speaks about love as the most important value. Love is the answer to all of our difficulties in our life. Without love, humanity could not exist. Do not treat each other as objects. Love has a power which breaks through the walls which separate us. Love unites us with others. Love makes us overcome the sense of isolation and separateness. The seed of love exist in our heart we need to let it grow. Be lover of people. We are incomplete without others. When God is in our heart and we are united with him it is sure that we will love others and show them love.

Fr. Paul, Your homily on love at 11 o”clock Mass today was excellent, right up until the last sentence when you quoted Love Story: “Love means you never have to say you’re sorry.” I strongly disagree. It has been my experience that love means you constantly have to say you’re sorry.
In my life, learning how God loves me and how to love myself and others has been a challenge. So often, I get lost in my own insecurity and ego and lose sight of what truly matters.
Thankfully God has granted me the grace to learn and hopefully grow in the understanding of this great mystery of life. But that growth has had many starts and stops along the way.
Perhaps being completely and perefctly in love does mean never having to say your sorry but in my journey of learning how to love, love also means having the humility and courage to say I’m sorry when I fail.
I find the running theme of love in Fr. Paul’s homilies thought provoking. To often, homilies are like messages from a relgious tech manual or worse issued like an edict from on high. Fr. Paul speaks about the heart from the heart.
